An Orlando woman, Melissa Dunham, 40, was arrested on March 30 after setting the home of her husband and son on fire in Homosassa, Citrus County. The incident occurred when a 911 caller reported that a “woman just set the house on fire.” Deputies said Dunham intentionally set the fire in an attempt to “rekindle” her marriage.
The fire took place at the residence on March 30, with the family present at the time. No injuries were reported. Melissa Dunham was taken into custody and charged with felony arson. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
