The Citrus County Athletic Department recently announced the county’s best in basketball, with several local athletes receiving recognition for their outstanding performance on the court.
The athletes were honored at a recent Citrus County School Board meeting, held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at the Citrus County School Board Administration Building, located at 1301 W. Woodland St, Inverness, FL 34450.
A total of 11 athletes from Citrus High School, Crystal River High School, and Withlacoochee High School were selected to the All-County team. The selections were based on their performance during the 2023-2024 season.
The following athletes were selected to the All-County team:
- Cade Bennett, Citrus High School, Senior, Guard
- Will Crocker, Citrus High School, Senior, Forward
- Jace Parrish, Citrus High School, Junior, Center
- Bryson WIlliams, Crystal River High School, Senior, Guard
- Jamal Scott, Crystal River High School, Senior, Forward
- Isaac Sims, Crystal River High School, Junior, Center
- Tyler Anderson, Withlacoochee High School, Senior, Guard
- Joshua Brown, Withlacoochee High School, Senior, Forward
- Justin Harris, Withlacoochee High School, Junior, Center
- Trenton Taylor, Citrus High School, Sophomore, Guard
- Ethan Hall, Crystal River High School, Freshman, Forward
