Gus, a young boy from Citrus County, is continuing his mission to feed the homeless in his community. On Monday night, around 6:00 PM, Gus and his team served breakfast to the homeless at the Citrus County Homeless Outreach Center in Inverness.
According to Nancy Kennedy, a reporter for the Citrus County Chronicle, Gus has been serving breakfast to the homeless for several weeks now. The young boy, who is only 10 years old, has been working tirelessly to make sure that those in need have a hot meal. With the help of his family and friends, Gus has been able to provide breakfast to dozens of homeless individuals in Citrus County.
Gus’s mission to feed the homeless started when he noticed that many people in his community were struggling to get by. He wanted to do something to help, and serving breakfast to the homeless seemed like a great way to make a difference. With the support of his family, Gus has been able to turn his idea into a reality.
The Citrus County Homeless Outreach Center is located at 401 S. Pine Ave, Inverness, FL 34470. If you would like to donate to Gus’s cause or learn more about his mission, you can visit the center or contact Gus’s family through their Facebook page.
