Crews on Thursday removed a tree that crashed into a home in Wesley Chapel, killing a man. The accident occurred on Wednesday in Pasco County.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a call about a tree that had fallen onto a home on Wednesday. The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the tree’s collapse or the victim’s identity.
Wesley Chapel is an unincorporated community in Pasco County, located near the intersection of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Sanctuary Boulevard. The area has seen significant growth in recent years, with many new homes and developments being built.
