U.S. Coast Guard Rescues 3 Off Anclote Key

On Saturday, a U.S. Coast Guard Station Sand Key boat rescued three people after their boat began taking on water off Anclote Key.

The rescue occurred at around 10:30 a.m. The Coast Guard boat responded to a distress call and arrived on scene to find the three individuals in need of assistance. The crew of the Coast Guard boat safely recovered the people and brought them back to shore.

The U.S. Coast Guard reminds boaters to always wear life jackets and to be prepared for emergencies while on the water. This rescue is a reminder of the importance of safety and preparedness while boating.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the three individuals were rescued without injury. The incident is under investigation.
