According to information obtained, the incident occurred in the area of the Cape Cod Loop bus stop. Multiple students reported seeing a suspicious vehicle around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and has not released further details about the vehicle or any potential suspects.

Parents of the local apartment complex were notified about the incident and advised to speak with their children about safety and the importance of staying alert while waiting for the bus. The Hernando County School District also sent a notification to parents in the area, reminding them to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
