Multiple Arrests, Narcotics Seizures in Homosassa, Inverness

Drug raids in Homosassa and Inverness led to multiple arrests and narcotics seizures on Wednesday, according to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office. The raids, which took place around 10:30 a.m., resulted in the arrest of several individuals and the seizure of various narcotics.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office conducted the raids at multiple locations, including a residence on Southeast 140th Street in Homosassa and a location in Inverness. Deputies arrested Tyler James Parker, 28, of Homosassa, and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and tampering with evidence. Another suspect, Jesse Michael Lee, 32, of Inverness, was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s office also seized several substances, including methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription medication, during the raids. The investigation is ongoing, and more charges may be filed as the case develops.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the raids by the Inverness Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
