A Crystal River woman was killed in a rollover crash involving a dump truck on Monday night. The Citrus County Chronicle reported that the fatal accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on State Road 44, near the intersection with Northwest 1st Avenue.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was driving a passenger vehicle that collided with a dump truck. The passenger vehicle rolled over as a result of the collision, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver was not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
