A Hudson man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop in Floral City on Monday night. According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Jesse Tyler Wootten was stopped around 10:30 p.m. on Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast 4th Street in Floral City.
Wootten was found to have 28 grams of methamphetamine in his possession, leading to his arrest and charge of drug trafficking. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Wootten was taken into custody and transported to the Citrus County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $20,000 bond.
