Citrus County, Florida – Citrus Libraries is continuing its America 250 celebration with a series of history programs, including “Stars, Stripes and Stories.” The programs aim to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and provide insight into the country’s rich history.
The “Stars, Stripes and Stories” program will be held at various locations throughout Citrus County. On June 17, 2024, at 6:30 PM, the program will be at the Citrus Springs Branch Library, located at 3201 W. State Road 44, Citrus Springs. Another program is scheduled for June 24, 2024, at 6:30 PM, at the Crystal River Branch Library, located at 846 S. Ponce de Leon Blvd., Crystal River. The programs will feature stories about American history and the significance of the American flag.
Additional programs are planned throughout the year, including a series of author talks and exhibits showcasing local historical artifacts.
