A man was arrested Wednesday night after troopers said he led them in a pursuit that resulted in him driving on the wrong side of the interstate in Pasco County.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, on I-75 in Pasco County. The suspect, whose name has not been released, was driving on the wrong side of the interstate when troopers attempted to stop him. He jumped a fence to escape but was apprehended shortly after.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the suspect’s actions caused a significant disturbance on the highway, but no injuries or fatalities were reported during the incident.
The suspect was taken into custody and is facing charges related to the incident, including driving on the wrong side of the road and fleeing from law enforcement.
