A 7-year-old boy died on Friday after being hit by a car while riding a scooter in Pasco County, Florida. According to troopers, the incident occurred on Thursday. The boy’s identity has not been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the boy was struck by a vehicle on Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the area of 118th Street and 44th Avenue in Hudson, Pasco County. The boy was rushed to a local hospital for treatment but sadly succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The Florida Highway Patrol is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
