CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. – The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an arson incident that occurred Monday night at an M.A. Mortensen construction site near North Suncoast Boulevard and West Powerline Street.
The incident happened around an unspecified time on Monday night. Three cars were set on fire at the construction site, which is located in a mostly rural area home to a Duke Energy Station. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in the arson investigation.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire and identify those responsible.
