Linda Rodriguez, on the other hand, has lived in Port Richey for 39 years and has 50 years of experience as a Registered Nurse before retiring one year ago. She spent 35 years in management, overseeing budgets, developing programs, managing personnel, and leading operations.
The candidates discussed their visions for the city’s future, with Hoover emphasizing his efforts to expand community engagement through city events, waterfront activities, and partnerships that bring residents and local businesses together. Rodriguez, with her extensive experience in healthcare management, highlighted her ability to bring a unique perspective to the mayoral role.
