A packed hearing is expected on the Holder plan at the Citrus County Planning & Development Commission meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Monday night, at the Citrus County Government Building, 405A W. Main St., Inverness.
The Holder plan, a proposed development project, has garnered significant attention from local residents and business owners. The plan, submitted by Holder Properties, LLC, proposes to construct a new residential complex on a 14.5-acre parcel of land located at 1101 S. Pine Ave., Inverness. The project would include 240 units, a community pool, and several amenities. The Planning & Development Commission will review the plan and make a recommendation to the Citrus County Commission.
Residents have expressed concerns about the potential impact of the project on local traffic, infrastructure, and schools. “We are concerned about the increased traffic and strain on our local schools,” said Jane Doe, a resident of Inverness. “We want to make sure that the county commission considers our concerns and makes an informed decision.” The meeting is expected to draw a large crowd, with many residents planning to speak out on the issue.
The Citrus County Planning & Development Commission meeting will take place on Monday, at 5:30 p.m. at the Citrus County Government Building. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input on the Holder plan.
