A 3.6 magnitude earthquake was reported in Citrus County on Monday night, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, with its epicenter located near the intersection of Southeast 110th Street and Southeast 58th Avenue in Homosassa, which is in Citrus County, Florida.
No damage or injuries were reported, but residents in nearby areas including Inverness, Crystal River, and Brooksville may have felt the quake.
The USGS reported that the earthquake had a depth of about 9.8 kilometers.
Residents can report any damage or observations to the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
