Citrus County churches are preparing for their upcoming Vacation Bible Schools (VBS), offering fun and educational experiences for local children. Faith Lutheran Church in Lecanto will host its VBS from July 13-17, 9 a.m. to noon each day. The church, located at 935 S. Crystal Glen Drive, Lecanto, invites children to learn more about Jesus through games, snacks, and activities. Registration is available online at faithlecanto.org or by calling 352-527-3325.
North Oak Church in Citrus Springs will have its VBS, themed “Rainforest Falls,” from July 6-10. The program, open to children of all ages and church affiliations, will feature Bible-learning activities, songs, games, and experiments. The church is located at 9324 N. Elkcam Blvd., Citrus Springs, and can be contacted at 352-489-1688 for more information. Additionally, Crystal River Community Church will present its “Manatee Springs!” VBS from June 22-26, 9 a.m. to noon, for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The free event will include games, crafts, music, and Bible stories, along with snacks and a light lunch.
These local VBS programs offer a great opportunity for children to engage in spiritual growth and community activities during the summer months. Parents and grandparents seeking a fun and educational experience for their kids can consider enrolling them in one of these programs.
