Patricia “Trish” Thomas, a trailblazing judge in Citrus County, died at the age of 74. She was a prominent figure in the local judicial system, serving as a judge for many years.
Thomas passed away on January 15, 2023, in Inverness, Florida. She was a native of Citrus County and had a long and distinguished career in law. Thomas was a pioneer for women in the judicial system and paved the way for future generations of female judges.
During her tenure, Thomas served as a circuit judge for the 5th Judicial Circuit, which includes Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco counties. She was known for her fairness, compassion, and commitment to justice.
