Thomas J. Johnson, a resident of Hernando, Florida, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after a brief illness. Born in Stamford, CT on October 8, 1942, to John H. Johnson and Elizabeth C. Murphy, he was predeceased by his parents.
Johnson, 83, lived in Hernando County for many years and was a well-known member of the community. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A full obituary will be published in a future edition of the Citrus County Chronicle.
