Support Groups Available in Citrus County

Citrus County residents have access to various support groups, providing a safe and caring environment for individuals dealing with mental health conditions, amputee support, and co-dependency.

The CASH (Citrus Amputee Support Help) amputee support group meets monthly on the first Friday of every month from 5-6:30 p.m. at ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lecanto, 3967 W. Norvell Bryant Highway, Lecanto. For more information, individuals can email organizer Donald Every at [email protected] or call 352-464-0151.

NAMI Citrus offers free Recovery Support Groups every Thursday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at the new Behavioral Resource Center in Beverly Hills, located at 4067 N. Lecanto Highway. These weekly groups provide a supportive environment for adults living with mental health conditions, as well as their family members and loved ones. The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group offers empathetic peer guidance and the opportunity to build meaningful community connections in a safe, judgement-free space. Additionally, the NAMI Family Support Group provides families with valuable insight from adults who have experienced both the challenges and successes of supporting a loved one with behavioral health symptoms.

Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) is a Twelve Step Fellowship of people whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. Although the article did not provide a specific meeting time and location for CoDA, individuals can visit their website or contact them directly for more information.
