A Spring Hill man, 35-year-old Ryan Michael Lee, is facing a capital sexual battery charge against a minor after an investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. According to an official arrest affidavit, the investigation began on January 10, 2023, after a parent contacted authorities and reported that his 11-year-old daughter had disclosed ongoing sexual abuse allegedly involving Lee, who was a close family friend.
The alleged abuse occurred from January 2020 to January 2023, at various locations in Hernando County, including Lee’s residence on Limestone Drive in Spring Hill. The victim, now 14 years old, reported that Lee had been sexually abusing her for approximately three years. Lee was arrested on January 15, 2023, and is being held at the Hernando County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
