Over Memorial Day evening, crews with Hernando County Fire Rescue were called to help a sick, immobile, and pregnant cow that had reportedly been trapped beneath a small pen for at least a day in Brooksville, Fla.
According to HCFR, the cow’s owners were unable to safely move the animal on their own and requested assistance from firefighters specially trained in large animal rescue operations. The exact location of the incident was not provided, but it occurred on Monday, May 27, around 5:00 p.m.
