Melissa Ann Gardner Ames, 58, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on March 10, 2026. She lived life to the fullest each and every day, always willing to help anyone with anything. Her generous spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of many.
Melissa cherished her Florida friends, many of whom she considered family. She adored her children, Zachary (Alyssa) Ames and Megan Ames, and was incredibly proud of them. Melissa was dedicated to serving customers through her business, Crystal River Cap and Truck Accessories, which she proudly ran since 1993. She is survived by her loving mother, Kathryn Gardner; her sisters, Debbie Dillender and Donna Newcomb; her son, Zachary (Alyssa) Ames; and her daughter, Megan Ames.
