Master Gardeners to Host Lawn Care Event in Citrus County

The Citrus County Master Gardeners will be hosting a free lawn care event on Saturday, March 18, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Citrus County Extension Office, located at 8515 North West Highway 19, Inverness, Florida.

The event, which is open to the public, will provide an opportunity for residents to learn about proper lawn care techniques, including mowing, watering, and fertilizing. The Master Gardeners will also be available to answer questions and provide guidance on various gardening topics.

Participants will have the chance to learn about the best practices for maintaining a healthy lawn, including how to identify common lawn problems and how to control weeds and pests. The event will also feature demonstrations and displays of various lawn care products and equipment.

The Citrus County Master Gardeners are a group of trained volunteers who provide gardening advice and assistance to the public. They are sponsored by the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) and the Citrus County Cooperative Extension.
