The City of Inverness is set to take its public art program to the next level with an immersive installation called ‘Visual Symphony,’ designed to blend music, movement, and wellness in the city’s medical district. On Monday, May 31, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the Inverness City Council will review the proposal for the installation, which will be located along Highlands Boulevard in front of HCA Florida Citrus Hospital.
The proposed installation, led by City Manager Eric Williams, aims to transform the medical district walkway into an interactive journey of music, movement, nature-inspired design, and responsive visual experiences that promote healing, relaxation, and human connection. The project is a partnership with HCA Florida Citrus Hospital and will expand on earlier art initiatives in the medical district. This initiative follows the city’s first public art effort launched in 2021 with the unveiling of the ‘Citrus Splash’ mural in downtown Inverness.
The ‘Visual Symphony’ installation will be located near the emergency room crosswalk and Grace Street. If approved, it will be the latest addition to Inverness’ growing public art program. The city council meeting will take place at Inverness City Hall.
