A blood drive is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at Inverness First United Methodist Church, located at 1140 E. Turner Camp Road, Inverness. The LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be on site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Blood donors will receive an umbrella and a $20 e-card.
The Citrus/Marion Retired Nurses group will hold its April meeting on Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m. at Mimi’s Cafe, 4414 SW College Road, Ocala. The speaker will be Dr. Yousef Elyaman, a board-certified internist from Ocala. Additionally, Senior Solutions Advisors Group will host an educational event and church community seminar, “How Healthy is Your Future?” on Tuesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to noon at Grace Methodist Church, 5030 S. Memorial Drive, Homosassa.
