Crystal River fire crews responded to a box truck blaze on Monday night, successfully extinguishing the fire.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on U.S. 19, near 8495 U.S. 19, Crystal River. The Citrus County Fire Department received a call reporting the fire, and crews arrived on scene shortly after. Firefighters worked to put out the flames, and the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Citrus County Fire Department was assisted by the Crystal River Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol.
