Citrus County to Hold Three Budget Workshops on Wednesday

Citrus County will hold three budget workshops on Wednesday, with the first one scheduled at 3:00 PM at the Citrus County Administration Building, located at 405A W. Baker St, Inverness. A second workshop will take place at 6:00 PM at the Citrus County Library, 1421 E. Kirkwood Ave, Inverness. The third and final workshop is set for 9:00 AM on Thursday at the same location as the first one.

The workshops come as Citrus County remains out of the path of a storm that has been affecting other parts of the state. County officials will discuss the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which will include funding for various projects and services. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input on the budget. The county’s budget process is an important part of ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and effectively.

No specific details about the proposed budget have been released, but officials say that the workshops will provide an opportunity for residents to ask questions and provide feedback. The Citrus County Chronicle will provide updates on the budget process as more information becomes available.

Residents can find more information about the budget workshops and the county’s budget process on the Citrus County website. They can also contact the Citrus County Administration Office at (352) 749-1000 for more information.
