Building Better Volleyball Players in Citrus County

Inverness, Citrus County – The Citrus County volleyball community is coming together to build better players, thanks to a series of clinics and training sessions. On Monday night, local coaches and players gathered at the Citrus County Athletic Center, 1005 E. US 19, Inverness, for a volleyball clinic focused on skill development and teamwork.

The clinic, led by experienced coach, Chris Bernhardt Jr., aimed to provide players of all ages and skill levels with the opportunity to improve their game. The session included drills, exercises, and team play, all designed to help players build their skills and confidence on the court. According to Bernhardt, the goal of the clinic is to create a positive and supportive environment where players can learn and grow together. The next clinic is scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, March 18, at 3:00 PM, at the same location.

Participants at the clinic included players from local schools, clubs, and community teams. The event was free and open to players of all ages, with ages ranging from 8 to 18 years old. The clinics are part of a larger effort to promote volleyball in Citrus County and provide players with the resources they need to succeed.
