Adriel Meline Stewart, 70, of Inverness, Florida, passed away on April 29, 2026, under the loving care of her family and HPH Citrus Hospice. A native of Greenfield, Massachusetts, she was born on October 15, 1955, to the late James and Audrey (Waterman) Edson. Stewart moved to the area in 2014 from Ohio.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John E. Stewart; sister, Shelley Martin of St. Francisville, Louisiana; brother, Alfred Edson of Kansas; sisters-in-law, Janice Rock and Marjorie Stewart; brother-in-law, David Stewart; nieces, Tammi Marshall, Traci Hupp, Kristy Miles; nephews, Victor Edson, Larry McMullen, and David Stewart; great-nieces, Katelyn Miles and Alexa Hupp; and many other family members and friends. Stewart enjoyed thrift store shopping, yard sale shopping, and gardening, often sharing these activities with her friends. Her family will receive friends at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Adriel to HPH Hospice of Citrus, 2929 W. Gulf To Lake Highway, Lecanto, FL 34460.
