A 49-year-old motorcyclist from Missouri was killed Monday evening, around 5:20 p.m., following a crash along US-301 in Webster, Florida, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred when a Nissan Murano, driven by a 22-year-old Webster woman, exited a private driveway near Knoxville Drive and attempted to turn northbound on US-301.
Investigators say the SUV entered the direction of travel of the motorcycle, causing a collision. The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 22-year-old driver of the SUV was not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
