On Thursday, firefighters responded to a rescue mission in Pasco County after discovering three tiny kittens stuck in a car’s exhaust. The Pasco County Fire Department received the call around 10:30 a.m. and quickly arrived at the scene on US-301 and State Road 54 in Hudson.
The kittens, estimated to be just a few weeks old, were trapped and unable to free themselves. Firefighters carefully removed the kittens from the exhaust pipe and provided them with oxygen. They were then transported to a local animal shelter for further care and treatment. The Pasco County Fire Department shared photos of the rescue on their social media page, showing the kittens safe and sound in a carrier. “We are glad we were able to rescue these adorable kittens,” said a spokesperson for the Pasco County Fire Department. The kittens’ condition is currently unknown.
