The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver that severely injured a woman riding her bicycle Saturday night, January 6, 2024, around 8:30 p.m., in Pasco County.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Collier Road near the intersection with Grand Boulevard in Odessa, Pasco County. The victim, whose name has not been released, suffered a brain bleed and a broken skull. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Florida Highway Patrol is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. The driver of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash fled the scene. The vehicle description has not been released.
