Work on the Inverness Boat Ramp has been postponed, according to the Citrus County Chronicle. The project was scheduled to start on Monday, but officials have decided to delay it.
The decision to postpone the work was made to ensure that local food programs can continue to operate without disruption. The Inverness Boat Ramp is a critical facility for residents and visitors alike, and the postponement is expected to minimize the impact on the community.
Local food programs, including those provided by the Citrus County School District, will continue to operate as usual. The district’s food services department provides meals to students and seniors throughout the county. “We are committed to providing nutritious meals to our students and seniors, and we will continue to do so despite the postponement of the boat ramp project,” said Superintendent Dr. Gregory T. Thomas.
The Citrus County School District’s food services department can be contacted at (352) 749-2000 for more information on their programs and services.
