Teen Driver Killed in Rollover Crash in Pasco County

A tragic early-morning crash in Pasco County has left one teenager dead and two others injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 2:22 a.m. on January 15, 2023, along Little Road, just south of Fred Street in Hudson. Troopers say an 18-year-old Hudson man was driving a Nissan Xterra northbound when he lost control of the vehicle.

The SUV traveled into the median, began to rotate, and rolled over multiple times, coming to rest on its wheels. The 18-year-old driver, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers, ages 17 and 19, were transported to a local hospital with injuries. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
