Inverness, Citrus County – On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, fifth-grade students at Inverness Primary School learned about safety and crime prevention from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

The event was part of the Sheriff’s Office’s annual Safety Day, which aims to educate children about various safety topics, including stranger danger, internet safety, and emergency preparedness.
