Hernando County voters can now request vote-by-mail ballots for the August 18, 2026, Primary Election. The Hernando County Supervisor of Elections will begin mailing ballots to voters who have submitted a vote-by-mail request on or after July 20, 2026.
Voters can request a vote-by-mail ballot online through the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections website, by mail, or in person. The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is August 13, 2026. Voters can also designate someone to pick up their ballot for them, but the designated person must be a registered voter in Hernando County or the voter’s spouse, parent, or child.
