Hernando County Seeks Public Input on 2025-2026 HUD Annual Action Plan

The Hernando County Government has released a draft of its Program Year 2025-2026 HUD Annual Action Plan and is seeking public input through a 30-day comment period. The plan outlines the county’s strategy for using federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address community development and housing needs.

A public hearing will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Hernando County Administrative Building, 3525 South Mason Street, Brooksville, Florida. The hearing will provide an opportunity for residents to review the plan and offer comments. The comment period began on June 3, 2024, and will end on July 3, 2024. Written comments can be submitted to the Hernando County Community Development Department at 3525 South Mason Street, Brooksville, FL 34649 or via email to [email protected].
