The community healing event, titled “Community Healing for David Mohr & Storm Distillery,” drew friends, customers, and neighbors to share memories and offer comfort.
The April 17 explosion occurred at Storm Distillery, and Mohr, the owner, was seriously injured while calling for help. Two bystanders were also hurt in the incident. The event on April 27 featured a sound bath led by Natoya Lambert, a holistic sound healer and founder of Guided by Sound, who used instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to guide participants through a session aimed at relaxation and emotional release.
Attendees included Skylar Bowen, who worked at Storm Distillery for over a year, and his wife, Sabrina. Bowen was seen embracing friend Greta Andion as others looked on, reflecting the close relationships formed around the business. Dawn Robinson, founder of White Light Wellness Studios in Inverness, described arriving shortly after the explosion and finding Mohr seriously injured.
