Citrus Strings to Present Series Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary

Citrus Strings, a non-profit organization based in Citrus County, Florida, is presenting a series of concerts to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. The series, which kicked off on January 15, 2026, will feature performances by local musicians at various locations throughout the county.

The first concert in the series took place on Monday night, January 15, at the Citrus County Performing Arts Center, located at 701 E. U.S. 19, Inverness. The event featured a performance by the Citrus County Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Music Director, Dr. John Barron. The concert included patriotic music and classics that showcase American music.

Future concerts in the series are scheduled to take place on February 12, March 21, and April 16.
