The Citrus County Chronicle recently announced the 2026 All-Chronicle Boys Weightlifting Team, recognizing the top weightlifters in the county.
The team includes:
- Crystal River High School’s Ryan Kennedy
- Inverness High School’s Jesse Cardenas
- Citrus High School’s Hunter Stowers
- Marion High School’s Caleb Albritton
- Northgate High School’s Dakota Wilson
The selection process involved evaluating the athletes’ performance in various weightlifting categories, including squat, bench press, and deadlift.
According to Citrus County Chronicle Sports Editor Matt Pfiffner, “The 2026 All-Chronicle Boys Weightlifting Team is comprised of talented athletes who have demonstrated exceptional strength, technique, and dedication to their sport.”
