Hernando County Burn Ban Continues Amid Drought Conditions
Hernando County’s burn ban remains in effect due to drought conditions and an increasing fire threat. The ban was first declared on January 8, and since then, county firefighters have responded to 38 brush fires and 138 unauthorized burns.
