Students Star at Charlie Kirk Sign Unveiling in Hernando County

On March 10, at the Hernando County Commission meeting, two high school students took center stage as commissioners unveiled a ‘Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway’ sign honoring the conservative leader who was assassinated last year. Weeki Wachee High School student Bella Rodriguez and Hernando High School student Snow Anna Mazourek, both presidents of their schools’ Turning Point USA chapters, spoke at the event.

The ‘Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway’ sign was dedicated on California Street. Rodriguez and Mazourek posed with the new sign along with County Commissioners. The audience listened as they spoke about the impact of Charlie Kirk’s legacy. Photos of the event show the students and commissioners with the new sign.

The Hernando County Commission meeting where the sign was unveiled took place on March 10. The exact time of the meeting was not specified. The sign is located on California Street, and photos show it on the side of the road.
