Spring Hill Woman Charged with Firing Weapon During Dispute with Estranged Wife

SPRING HILL, Fla. – A 70-year-old Spring Hill woman, Sheila Marie Tidwell, was arrested on Tuesday after a domestic dispute turned violent. The incident occurred on Abigail Drive in Spring Hill, Hernando County, Florida.

The investigation began when deputies responded to a reported weapons disturbance involving Tidwell, her estranged wife, and another victim. According to authorities, the victims had gone to a residence to take photos of personal belongings when the dispute escalated. During the altercation, Tidwell allegedly fired a weapon.
