Spring Hill Woman Charged with Attempting to Run Over Party Guest

A Spring Hill woman, 31-year-old Brittany Nicole O’Connor, is facing felony charges after deputies say she attempted to run over another woman during a party on February 7. The incident occurred at a residence in Spring Hill, Hernando County, Florida, when deputies responded to an assault complaint.

The victim, identified as 22-year-old Alyssa Nicole O’Connor, told authorities that Brittany O’Connor became aggressive and threatening during the party, and then attempted to run her over with a sport utility vehicle (SUV). The victim was able to avoid being hit and called 911. Brittany O’Connor was arrested and charged with attempted vehicular homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, and Brittany O’Connor is being held at the Hernando County Detention Center.
