A 32-year-old Hernando County man, whose name has not been released, was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation against his stepdaughter after being caught in the act by his wife on Wednesday at approximately 3:28 a.m. in Spring Hill.
The victim’s mother called 911 to report a sexual offense involving her daughter. According to the probable cause affidavit, the suspect was released on $5,000 bond.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is handling the case, and further details are not being released at this time.
