Dave Pisarcik, head coach of the Nature Coast Sharks, recently achieved a milestone of 400 career wins. Pisarcik, who took over as head coach in 2007 after replacing his mentor Travis Priddy, reached this impressive feat on January 13 with a 58-22 win at Citrus. Pisarcik was unaware he had surpassed the mark until after the game.
With the Sharks concluding their 2025-26 campaign on February 14 with a regional quarterfinal loss to Seminole, Pisarcik’s overall record stands at 405-144, an outstanding .738 win percentage. Pisarcik expressed his gratitude for being mentioned alongside other great coaches in Hernando County history, including Greg O’Connell, John Sedlack, and Jeff Laing. He emphasized that his focus is on building a consistent top program at Nature Coast rather than just accumulating wins.
The achievement is significant for Pisarcik and the Nature Coast Sharks, highlighting their consistent performance over the years. Pisarcik credited his staff, including Coach Ramsey Rastatter, for their commitment and hard work. He noted that the team’s success is a result of their collective effort and dedication to their teaching and coaching philosophy.
