A Pasco County deputy and two of his neighbors were shot in a “senseless act of violence” on Monday night, authorities said. The suspect, who has not been identified, remained in the hospital Tuesday with injuries sustained during the incident. He is set to have a pre-trial hearing.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reported that the deputy, along with two of his neighbors, were shot at a location in Pasco County. The daughter of the victims called the incident a “senseless act of violence.” The suspect was taken into custody and is facing charges. The victims’ names have not been released.
