A 67-year-old woman was bitten in the face by her son in Citrus County, Florida, on Monday night. The incident occurred at their home on Southeast 5th Avenue in Inverness, according to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is handling the case.
