Ann Wilkinson of Crystal River is expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the first responders who saved her life recently. Wilkinson collapsed at her home and her husband called 911. She doesn’t remember much from the event, except that the young man working on her was calm.
Although Wilkinson doesn’t know the names of her heroes, she wants to thank them for their life-saving actions. “I owe you my life,” she said. “As a community, we are so blessed to have these men and women who dedicate their lives to our well-being. God bless you all.” Wilkinson’s letter was published in the Citrus County Chronicle on February 12, 2026.
